My lawyer says, "You are not guilty." She presents my case well. The judge listens. Does she believe me? I hope so. My lawyer asks, "Can you defend yourself?" I say, "No, I can’t. I don’t know the law." She says, "Don’t worry. I will help you." The people in court look at me. Is their law fair? I don’t know. My lawyer is very good. She defends her clients well. The judge asks, "Does he commit the crime?" My lawyer says, "No, he doesn’t." The judge thinks. Then she says, "He isn’t a criminal." I am happy. The law is fair today.

Court Verdict Not Guilty
English
There is a court. The judge is there with the prosecutor. The defendant pleads not guilty. The lawyer says, "The evidence isn't strong. Does the prosecutor have any evidence?" The prosecutor gives evidence, but it doesn't seem clear. The family wants to testify. Can they testify? The judge asks, "Why do you plead not guilty?" The defendant says, "I am not a criminal. The decision isn't fair." The lawyer appeals. "There isn't enough evidence to prove guilt," he says. The jury gives a verdict. "Is the verdict guilty?" asks the family. "No," says the lawyer. "The sentence is just. The defendant can accept the final decision."
