Method & curriculum
The course runs on the Core collections: six units, Core #1 to #6, taking you from absolute beginner to C2 along one continuous path.
The rhythm is word to phrase to sentence. A new word comes back inside a phrase, then inside full sentences, questions and negations, until it holds. Each unit builds on the one before it, so hard constructions arrive in small doses inside material you already understand.
The language taught is bokmål, the written standard you will meet in courses, exams and official letters. Norwegian dialects are a listening problem rather than a writing one, which is why every sentence here carries audio.

Frequently asked questions
Everyone in Norway speaks English. Why learn Norwegian at all?
Because the parts that matter are in Norwegian: work you are not translated into, official letters, your neighbours, and the small talk that decides whether you feel at home. People switch to English when they see you struggling, and stop when you answer without hesitating.
Which Norwegian does the course teach, bokmål or nynorsk?
Bokmål. It is the standard used by most written material, most courses and the official exams. Nynorsk is not covered.
Will this prepare me for Norskprøven?
The path covers the ground the exam is built on, from A1 upwards, and the sentence drilling is aimed at production rather than recognition. We are not an exam centre and this is not an official preparation programme.

That is the most common shape of the problem, and it is a listening deficit rather than a grammar one. Every sentence in the course is voiced, and Language Radio adds passive hours on top.
How much time does it take per day?
