Yes, and the tail helps with balance. Young dragons don’t hunt large prey yet. They must climb trees to stay safe. If you explore these islands, you will see this amazing dragon! But you mustn’t get too close—it is deadly!

It mustn’t stay in the sun too long. The mother will protect her baby. She won’t leave it alone. The baby isn’t sick, but it isn’t strong yet. The mother’s claws are sharp. She can dig very fast. Will she find food soon? The baby needs to eat. The mother must hunt. The sun is still hot. The dragons aren’t in danger yet. But they must find food before night.
